What the data shows for spas

The sample is small, so read the share as a range. With 39 sites, a plausible range for the true share (a 95% Wilson interval) is 9% to 33%.

Separately, counting every listing in this trade rather than only tested websites: 13 of 78 Google listings (17%) show no website at all. That figure uses a different denominator (all listings) and is not part of the share above.

What customers expect from day spas

Spa services are planned in advance, and some clients buy them as gifts, so clients look for the menu, the length of each service and open times before committing.

What a fix looks like

A booking page that shows services with duration and price, plus a gift card option. Link it from the homepage header.

  • Put the booking or request link on the homepage, near the top, labeled with a verb ("Book a visit", "Request an estimate").
  • Keep a tap-to-call link next to it for customers who would rather phone.
