What the data shows for groomers
The sample is small, so read the share as a range. With 30 sites, a plausible range for the true share (a 95% Wilson interval) is 46% to 78%.
Separately, counting every listing in this trade rather than only tested websites: 13 of 77 Google listings (17%) show no website at all. That figure uses a different denominator (all listings) and is not part of the share above.
What customers expect from pet groomers
Grooming appointments depend on the breed, the size and the service, and busy groomers book up ahead. Owners want to see the next opening and request a slot.
What a fix looks like
A booking or request form that asks for breed, size and service, so the groomer can confirm the right length of slot.
- Put the booking or request link on the homepage, near the top, labeled with a verb ("Book a visit", "Request an estimate").
- Keep a tap-to-call link next to it for customers who would rather phone.
- Add the same link to your Google Business Profile so people can book from Maps and Search. See how to add a booking link to Google Business Profile.
- After you change the site, run the free Book Check again to confirm a booking path is detected.
